Once you purchase a registration key for any of our software, all minor version upgrades of the same software are free, and may be downloaded any time free of charge. Usually your registration key will continue to work with the new minor version upgrade but if it does not simply send an email to support@algoart.com for a free replacement key.
If you purchase a registration key within 6 months of a major version upgrade, the major version upgrade is also free.
You may choose to be notified by email when new versions of our software are released by subscribing to our Newsletter.
If your license key becomes invalid or lost, email support@algoart.com for a new one. We will replace a lost license key at no charge if you can supply proof of purchase, which usually will be your email receipt. If this is not available, supply the name and/or email address under which you originally licensed the software and we will attempt to recover the license, but without the original email receipt or other proof of purchase, we cannot guarantee a free replacement.
You should archive your downloaded software installation files, as we only provide downloads for current versions. If you loose your software installation file you will need to download and install the current version. Inactive products that we no longer carry will continue to be supported by tech support, but we cannot replace lost installation files.
Our software is available as free try before you buy, full feature, trial downloads. Please take advantage of this free trial, and make sure the software can be installed on your computer and works as you expect before you purchase the license. Once a license key has been issued it is unfortunately not possible to recall all copies of the software. Therefore there is no refund available for software once the license key is purchased.

The license for Algorithmic Arts software is a very liberal, "Use As a Book" agreement that says in part:
You may copy this software for archive purposes, to protect your investment. And you may transfer the registration license to any other single computer for your use without restriction. You may also allow others to use this copy of the software, so long as it is used by one person at a time.
Thus, while the registration for downloaded versions of the software is is keyed to a particular user's name, we are very liberal about allowing you to make secondary or laptop computer installations, as long as you are honoring your agreement that it is used by only one person at a time.
ALGORITHMIC ARTS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
By downloading and running this software, you imply your agreement to this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of the End User License, do not download or run the software.
LIMITATIONS ON INSTALLATION AND USE
This software is protected by U.S. and international copyright law and cannot be copied or otherwise made available to more than one person at the same time, without violating the law. The unregistered trial version download of the software may be copied and distributed without restriction except that the software must be distributed only in its original form, without any additions, deletions or modifications whatsoever When you purchase the software, you will receive a unique registration code, or key. You may not publish or distribute this registration key by any means without direct authorization from Algorithmic Arts. If you do, your license to use the software is automatically terminated, you must remove the software from your computer(s), and you may be liable for legal damages.
After the software registration key is purchased, the registered software is licensed to you for use by only one person at a time, as you would use a book. You may copy this software for archive purposes, to protect your investment. And you may transfer the registration license to any other single computer for your use without restriction. You may also allow others to use this copy of the software, so long as it is used by one person at a time. This "as a book" provision is only for individual registrations and does not apply to multi-system registrations.
UPGRADES
If this software is an upgrade version of software that you previously acquired, you have not acquired two different rights to use this software and its earlier version. This upgrade and the earlier version together constitute just one copy of the software and must be used by one person at a time (or transferred together to only one person).
OTHER LIMITS ON YOUR USE
Except as described in this license, you may not transfer, rent, lease, lend, copy, modify, translate, sublicense, time-share, electronically transmit or receive, or decompile or reverse engineer this software or the media and documentation, or the registration key that enables the software, or the passwords to the Algorithmic Arts download directory from which you obtained the software.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Algorithmic Arts makes no representation or warranty regarding the content of this product, including its software and documentation. For example, Algorithmic Arts does not warrant that the software or documentation are "error-free" or will meet the needs and requirements of a particular user. All information in the software and documentation is subject to change without notice. In addition, Algorithmic Arts makes no representation or warranty regarding products, media, software or documentation manufactured or supplied by others.
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTIBILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED BY ALGORITHMIC ARTS. ALL OTHER IMPLIED TERMS ARE EXCLUDED.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Algorithmic Arts disclaims any liability for damages arising from the use of this product or any other damages, including (though not limited to) lost profits or data, special, incidental, or other claims, even if Algorithmic Arts has been specifically advised of the possibility of such claims. Regardless of the form of the claim, the only liability Algorithmic Arts will have to you or any other person will be limited to the amount actually paid for the product.
MISCELLANEOUS
This license and limited warranty can only be modified in writing signed by you and an authorized officer of Algorithmic Arts. If any part or provision is found to be unenforceable or void, the remainder shall be valid and enforceable. If any remedy provided is determined to have failed of its essential purpose, all limitations of liability and exclusions of damages shall remain in effect.
Use, duplication or disclosure of this software and documentation by the U.S. Government is subject to the restricted rights applicable to commercial computer software (under FAR 52.227-19 and DFARS 252.227-7013). Sale of this software is subject to the U.S. Commerce Department export restrictions. This software is intended for use in the country in which Algorithmic Arts sold it (or the EEC if first sold in the EEC).
This license and limited warranty shall be construed under the laws of Texas, U.S.A.
You have specific legal rights under this document, and may have other rights that vary from state to state and country to country.
Algorithmic Arts reserves all rights not specifically granted. Algorithmic Arts Software may have patents and/or pending patent applications covering subject matter in this document. The furnishing of this document does not give you any license to these patents.
